"You're late." Phi stated, a hand on her hip and her eyes glaring daggers at the panting mess of a comrade. Phi could've slapped him and called him names for how long she had to wait, but they were in public and she didn't want to create a scene. Especially if there were people in the crowds of the plaza who knew about their school. Best not to feed the fire with more fuel.

"Ah! Hahaha, sorry! I kinda found a diamond ring on the way here." Komaeda explains in a rather excited tone, bringing up the said diamond ring in full view for her to see. His usual aloof smile plastered on his face.

Stunned, her eye twitched under her light-blue framed glasses. She scowls, "Ugh, this is the 5th time this week you found something valuable on the streets. What are you, a treasure detector?" Her hand came up to the bridge of her nose, pinching it with a groan.

"Well, I did find you too. You could count as treasure too, riiiight?" He laughs, straightening his ragged signature jacket and usual uniform pants.

She looked to him, unamused eyes landed on his own. "If that was your way of flirting, then I'd give that a 3. Just cause you had the balls to say that I was found on the streets. Mind you, I was just near your school is all." Phi sighs, turning away from him, pushing her glasses back up.

The two students of Shujin have agreed to meet up for a task that their third in command, Chiaki, had asked for.

Ever since their new addition to the team, Maya Fey, has been saved from the torture chamber of Franziska Von Karma, they noticed Nico having a bit of a mild case of colds. He says he's fine, but they all knew that he needed a break from the whole 'saving' people thing. So, Chiaki held a special meeting, without Nico's consent of course, and planned to throw a party dedicated to him and take a few days off from their dangerous missions. Given, their wallets were practically loaded from every palace raid they did.

Chiaki would handle Nico (Giggity) for the rest of the day, going on a date with him to make sure he doesn't get suspicious of where the other people were. Originally, Komaeda and Morishige were in charge of buying the decorations. But, Morishige insisted he wanted to help Maya instead because of his... personal reasons. Well, Morishige looked desperate, so Phi decided to switch roles with him to save them all the trouble of 'Nyaas' here and 'Nyaas' there. Thus, Maya and Morishige were in charge of baking and cooking for the whole group.

So, here they were, on their way to the party shop called 'Emil's Party House'. Chiaki had suggested that place so... It should be good... right?

Phi silently looked through the map coordinates, her eyes narrowed at the poorly written instructions. "Hmm... Reading Latin would be easier than reading this..." She mutters, an irritated sigh escaping her lips as she placed a hand on her forehead.

"You read Latin? That's neat! Or as my friend Oliver next door would say... That's neato!" Komaeda chuckles, his shoulders shifting up and his hands buried in his pockets.

"R...Right. Well, yes I do. But, honestly. Did Chiaki even understand what she wrote?"

"Hmm, well--" He moved his hand over to the paper she was holding then snatched it up, "--Let me take a look at it."

Phi looked over at him to her right, her arms crossing in wait. "Go for it, octopus-head."

Komaeda smiled in response to the insult, but managed to still focus on the paper. "Hmm, Let's see..." They continued walking, but slower than a while ago after he snatched it.

He tilted his head, inspecting the paper.

Phi scoffed in her head. Honestly, this guy was such a weirdo. She'd never be caught dead with a guy like him around her for the whole day. Not including today of course.

But, due to her loyalty to Nico, she had to at least sacrifice a bit of her pride and time to make sure Nico would receive a good amount of collaboration from his teammates. Thus, the reason why she volunteered.

However, Komaeda wasn't a bad guy. Despite his malicious intent to push Nico into every spotlight where the heavily armored guards would find him, he was only doing it for purpose. Such as finding better treasure or even an easier escape route and the like. Phi knew so little of him, but when it came down to teamwork and cooperation, he'd be starred as being one of the best teammates to have your back. He'd give anything to protect his comrades. But, his suggested hope he keeps blabbering about to his team whenever they enter a place always seems to catch Phi off and gave it an unnerving chill. Why though? Is it cause of how he says it or was it just the person saying it? Only God can know what the hell she felt every time he'd chatter off about his beloved hope.

"Ah! I see the problem here!" He says, snapping her out of her blank stare at the sidewalk ahead of them.

Komaeda handed her the paper, but turned it upside down. "You were just reading it the other way, Phi." He begins to laugh, "Oh, you ding dong!"

"I..." Wow, How could she have missed such a thing? It was just... upside down? Well, it was in cursive so maybe she--No... Then she could've thought about--Wait, It... "I knew that, of course. I was just testing if you knew what we were doing." She spits out rather quickly, swift to erase any trace of her little act of idiocy.

"Of course I do, Phi! We're on our way to Emil's Party House right?" He states, his chin up in pride as he explains to a very bored looking Phi.

"Yes. Very good, kiddo." She mutters sarcastic praise to him with a pat on the back before walking faster than him, He blinks and his mouth forms a pout. "Hey, wait a minute. We're the same age!"

"18? I highly doubt that with your aloof ego."

"Well I doubt you're 18, I mean, look at your heigh--OOF!"

With a quick blow to the gut, her elbow crashed squarely up to his abdomen. She pulls his ear with an annoyed look and growls in his ear, "Mention my height again and the last thing you'll be saying will be a cry for help." She shoves him away and as he knocks over a trash can with a grunt. Thankfully, he supports his balance with the trashcan, but his hand felt something sticky on the top of it.

"Uh...?" With a pained look still on his face, he brings up his right hand to see a paper sticking on his palm with something that smelled like strawberry bubblegum. He sees the front of the paper and his eyes widen.

"Congratulations! You have won  free V.I.P. tickets for your whole family to a tour on the replica of the Titanic! Hosted by the CEO of Cradle Pharmaceutical and sponsor of the luxury trip, Gentarou Hongou! The free flight will fly on the 26th of November, 4:00 am to the desert of..."

"Hey Phi, I think I scored us a free trip."

Well now, it seems that the Phantom Penguins next target will come sooner than they've hoped for.
